マリアガーデンでウラジロチチコグサが咲いています。空き地などに生えるキク科の1年草または越年草です。南アメリカ原産の帰化植物です。キャンパス内では名前にチチコグサとつく帰化植物の中で、最もよく見られます。

"Urajiro-Chichikogusa" plants are in bloom in the Marian Garden. They are annual or winter annual plants in the Asteraceae family that commonly grow in vacant lots and other open areas. This species is a naturalized plant originally from South America. Among the naturalized plants whose names include "Chichikogusa", this species is the most commonly found on our campus.
