お茶畑のわきでハマスゲが咲いていました。海辺などに生えるカヤツリグサ科の多年草です。和名は浜に生えることに由来しますが、畑や道端などにもよく見られます。地下にできる塊茎（イモ）はコウブシと呼ばれ、漢方薬として用いられます。
