イイギリ
イイギリが果実をつけています。１０ｍ以上になる高木で、高いところに赤い実をたくさんつけています。人家に植えられることも多く、人里に近い山林によく見られるようです。イイギリは雌雄異株といい、雄花だけを付ける雄株と雌花だけをつける雌株に分かれています。この木は雌株になります。
"Iigiri (イイギリ)" trees are bearing their fruits. They are tall trees that grow up to more than 10 meters in height and bear their fruit on high branches. They are often planted in gardens and seen in forests and mountains near villages. "Iigiri" trees are dioecious, which means the male trees bloom only male flowers and the female trees bloom only female flowers. The tree in the photo is a female tree.
